Wixx 2K PU Topcoat

Wixx 2K PU topcoat is a high-quality 100% transparent 2-component polyurethane coating with excellent chemical resistance. Moreover, this topcoat is very scratch and wear-resistant. Wixx 2K PU topcoat provides optimal protection for floors in demanding environments. Therefore, it is the ideal choice for long service life and reliable performance under heavy conditions.

Application
Wixx 2K PU topcoat is specially designed as an extra protective layer over another Wixx 2K product and subsequently provides a durable, chemically resistant finish. After opening, this finish coat remains workable for approximately 2 hours at 20°C, which provides sufficient time to apply it evenly. Coverage is approximately 10 m² per litre on an already treated substrate. For the best result, we recommend even application with a suitable roller or spray.

Drying time
Dust-dry: 12 hours at 20°C
Walkable: 24 hours at 20°C
Light traffic: 48 hours at 20°C
Fully cured: 72 hours at 20°C

Safety and health

• First ensure adequate ventilation during application
• Wear a mask and gloves
• Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes, respiratory mask recommended with limited ventilation
