Wixx PRO Roof Coating Aluminium

Wixx PRO aluminium roof coating provides excellent waterproof finishing for various roofing materials. This high-quality aluminium roof coating, based on bitumen, special additives and aluminium particles, creates a reflective and flexible layer that is resistant to all weather conditions. Therefore, the roof covering not only protects against moisture, but also ensures a longer lifespan of your roof by reflecting sunlight, keeping the roof cool in summer.

Application
First ensure that the substrate is clean, dry and free from moss, algae and loose parts. For optimal results, it is therefore recommended to first degrease the substrate with Wixx Super Degreaser. The aluminium roof coating can then be applied directly over cracks and fissures without requiring repair. Mix the coating thoroughly with a metal mixer before use. Then apply the roof covering in thin layers of 0.5 to 1.0 mm for the best result. Working time: Approximately 4 hours at 20°C
Application temperature: Minimum +5°C and maximum +30°C

Application
Apply the aluminium roof coating by pouring it onto the roof and rolling or spreading it evenly with a roller, brush or broom. Ensure the coating is distributed evenly. Additionally, use multiple thin layers for the best protection. Coverage: 1 to 2m² per kg per coat

Thinning/Cleaning:
Wixx PRO roof coating can be thinned and cleaned with Turpentine.

Drying time
Walkable: after approximately 8 hours at 20°C
Fully trafficable: after approximately 24 hours at 20°C

Safety and health
First ensure adequate ventilation during application
Then wear suitable gloves and a mask
In any case, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and use a respiratory mask with limited ventilation
