Wixx Wood Impregnator UV+

Wixx Wood Impregnator UV+ is a fast-drying, solvent-free wood treatment designed as a protective first coat for both transparent and opaque finishes. It penetrates deeply into the wood, nourishing and protecting it from within while providing excellent adhesion for subsequent coatings.

Thanks to its water-repellent properties and deep penetrating action, Wixx Wood Impregnator UV+ provides long-lasting protection against moisture and helps extend the lifespan of the wood. Once dry, it can be overcoated with most paint systems. Its colourless formulation also makes it an ideal base for transparent wood stains and clear finishes.

Directions for Use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Highly absorbent wood should be treated until fully saturated. Remove any excess product with a clean, lint-free cloth. Avoid treating wood too early in the spring; allow it to dry thoroughly first for the best results.

Preparation

Stir Wixx Wood Impregnator UV+ thoroughly before use, ensuring the product is mixed well from the bottom of the container. Allow the product to reach room temperature before application. Apply only when the surface and ambient temperature are between 5°C and 25°C.

Application

1. Apply Wixx Wood Impregnator UV+ evenly in the direction of the wood grain. Work plank by plank or in manageable sections.
2. Allow the product to penetrate the wood thoroughly. Wipe away any excess product before it dries to achieve a uniform finish.
