Wixx PRO red lead primer is a red-brown rust-inhibiting primer specifically applied when finishing with dark colours. This red lead can be used for steel structures, fencing, machinery, agricultural vehicles and vessels to prevent corrosion and rust formation. In addition to corrosion protection, the primer also seals the object well. Then the metal paint or alkyd topcoat can be applied. This rust-inhibiting primer can also be used on wood.

Application
Wixx PRO red lead primer can be applied with roller, brush or airless spray.
Thinning/Cleaning
Wixx PRO corrosion-inhibiting primer can be thinned and cleaned with turpentine or thinner.
Topcoat
For untreated surfaces we first recommend applying 1 coat of primer, followed by 1 topcoat of Wixx PU Metal Paint.
