Wixx Metal Paint Aqua Rust-Inhibiting
Direct over rust — durable protection without primer.
Wixx metal paint aqua rust-inhibiting is a high-quality, water-based semi-gloss coating that provides optimal protection for all metal substrates and steel structures. This metal paint can also be applied directly to lightly rusted substrates — without requiring a separate primer. For the best result, we recommend applying two coats.

• No discolouration or yellowing
• Coverage: approximately 12 m² per litre, depending on substrate
• Available in 2.5L, 5L, 10L and 20L
• Available in white, mixed colours and various RAL shades

Application
Wixx metal paint aqua rust-inhibiting is ideally suited for painting metal surfaces such as fencing, steel structures, pipework and metal facades — both indoors and outdoors.

Application instructions
Apply the coating with roller, brush or airless spray. First ensure a clean, grease-free substrate. Rusty parts must be dry and dust-free, but do not need to be completely sanded to bare metal. For untreated metal or highly absorbent substrates, we then recommend one coat of WIXX PRO Multiprimer, followed by one or two coats of metal coating.

Drying time & application
Dust-dry: after approximately 2 hours
Recoatable: after approximately 6 hours
Application temperature: >8°C and at a relative humidity <85%
Fully cured: after approximately 7 days

Thinning & cleaning
Can be lightly thinned with water if necessary. Clean tools immediately after use with water.
