Wixx PU Boat varnish is a high-quality, colour-fast, alkyd-based high-gloss opaque lacquer for all the woodwork of your boat or other wooden structures. Wixx PU boat lacquer is suitable for painting existing, intact, sanded paint layers on turpentine basis, provided properly pre-treated. Wixx PU boat lacquer is also suitable for varnishing new wood.

Application
Wixx PU Boat Varnish can be applied with roller, brush or airless spray.
Thinning/Cleaning
Wixx PU Boat Lacquer can be thinned and cleaned with PU Thinner.
Primer
For untreated surfaces we first recommend applying at least 2 coats. However, for optimal results we recommend 3 coats. No specific primer needs to be applied underneath for this purpose. This marine lacquer can then be applied directly to bare wood.
