Wixx scaffolding wood stain UV+ provides optimal protection for scaffolding wood and other rough wooden surfaces. The scaffolding wood stain also penetrates deep into the wood, prevents blistering and cracking, and delivers a durable, natural finish that enhances the characteristic appearance of scaffolding wood.

Application
Wixx scaffolding wood stain UV+ is ideally suited for protecting and beautifying scaffolding wood, such as wooden decking, pergolas, garden furniture and other outdoor applications. The product is therefore suitable for both untreated and previously treated wood and enhances the robust appearance of scaffolding wood.

Application instructions
First thoroughly clean the wood and degrease it (use Wixx All-purpose Cleaner). Ensure the surface is completely clean, dry and dust-free. Then stir the rough wood stain thoroughly before use to guarantee an even colour and finish. Then apply the scaffolding wood stain with a brush, roller or spray and work in the direction of the wood grain. For new or untreated wood, it is recommended to apply at least two coats. Light sanding between coats with a fine grit (P220) also ensures an extra smooth result.

Thinning and Cleaning
The exterior wood stain is ready to use and does not need to be thinned. Clean the tools immediately after use with turpentine or white spirit.

Primer
For untreated wood, it is recommended to first apply a coat of Wixx Wood Impregnator. This improves the adhesion and durability of the scaffolding wood stain.

Coverage
Average yield: approximately 16 m² per litre, depending on the wood type and absorption.
