Wixx AQ interior wood stain is a high-quality, water-based wood stain specially developed for indoor use. This interior stain protects wooden surfaces in your interior and also accentuates the natural wood grain. All while providing a subtle and atmospheric finish without harmful fumes.

Application
Wixx interior stain is ideally suited for treating interior wooden surfaces such as doors, windows, furniture and floors. The product is therefore suitable for both new and previously treated wood, and contributes to a warm and natural atmosphere in your living or working space.

Application instructions
First ensure that the wood surface is thoroughly cleaned and degreased, so that it is completely free from dust and grease residue. Then stir the wood stain thoroughly for a uniform colour. Then apply the interior stain with a suitable brush, roller or spray, and work in the direction of the wood grain for the best finish. For new or untreated wood, it is recommended to apply at least two coats. Light sanding between coats with a fine grit (for example P220) also improves adhesion and results in an extra smooth finish.

Thinning and Cleaning
The wood stain is ready to use and requires no thinning. Clean the tools immediately after use with water or a suitable cleaning agent.

Primer
For untreated wood, it is advisable to first apply a coat of Wixx Wood Impregnator. This improves adhesion and strengthens the durability of the interior stain.

Coverage
Average yield: approximately 16 m² per litre, depending on the wood type and absorption.

Dust-dry: after 1 hour
Recoatable: after 4 hours
Fully cured: after 7 days
