Wixx 2K PU 450 Concrete Coating

Wixx 2k PU 450 concrete coating is a high-quality 2-component solvent-based concrete coating that has been specially developed for mechanical and chemical stress. This professional concrete coating is suitable for underfloor heating and can be applied both indoors and outdoors. Therefore, this concrete coating is ideally suited for:

For an optimal liquid-tight floor that is resistant to chemicals, oils, greases and tyre plasticisers, we recommend first applying 1 coat of Wixx 2K Universal Primer, followed by 2 coats of Wixx 2K PU 450 concrete coating. This will give you a completely liquid-tight floor that is also very easy to clean. In addition, you will then have a concrete coating with very high chemical resistance.

Substrate preparation:
First, every substrate must be thoroughly cleaned with Wixx Super Degreaser and then rinsed with water. The surface must be completely clean. The advantage of Wixx Super Degreaser is that it also makes the floor antistatic, ensuring optimal adhesion of the concrete coating.

Application:
Wixx coating can be applied with roller, brush or airless spray. If you use spray, dilute 5% with Epoxy thinner. Clean very thoroughly with PU Thinner or White Spirit/Turpentine after use.

Thinning/Cleaning
This coating may be diluted with a maximum of 5% PU Thinner. Can be cleaned with PU Thinner or White Spirit/Turpentine.

Primer:
We always recommend applying a coat of Wixx 2K Universal Primer first. This removes the absorption from the substrate and optimises the adhesion of the concrete coating.
