Wixx Projecttex is an extra-durable, water-based, matte wall paint for interior use. Ideal for walls and ceilings in residential properties and projects. The paint offers excellent coverage, delivers a beautifully even matte finish, and is also suitable for use on glass fiber wall coverings. Thanks to its strong price–quality ratio, Wixx Projecttex is highly suitable for larger surfaces and professional use.

Application Instructions

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, grease-free, and sound before starting. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Wixx Projecttex can be applied undiluted with a brush or paint roller. For airless spraying, the paint can be diluted with 3–5% water. Apply at temperatures between 5 and 30°C.

On untreated, absorbent, or chalking surfaces, a suitable primer is required to reduce absorption and achieve an even result. On non-absorbent or slightly absorbent mineral substrates, a primer is recommended for optimal adhesion.

Consumption & Drying Time

• Consumption: approx. 9–11 m² per litre per coat on a smooth surface
• Dust-dry after approx. 1 hour
• Recoatable after approx. 5 hours

Areas of Application

Wixx Projecttex is suitable for walls and ceilings indoors and outdoors on, among others, wind-dried concrete, plaster, masonry, brickwork, textured finishes, gypsum and board panels, wood wool cement boards, and glass fiber wall coverings. Treat untreated, chalking, or highly absorbent substrates first with an appropriate primer or sealer to ensure optimal adhesion and an even finish.
