Wixx 2K Epoxy Concrete Primer is a high-quality two-component primer specially developed for concrete floors. This primer provides excellent adhesion to both new and existing concrete and forms the perfect base for a durable floor finish. Thanks to its strong penetration into the substrate, this epoxy concrete primer reduces the absorption of concrete, allowing you to apply the topcoat evenly. In combination with Wixx 2K Epoxy Concrete Paint, it creates a strong, liquid-tight floor resistant to oil, grease, chemicals, and plasticizers from tires.

Application Instructions

Thoroughly clean the substrate with Wixx Super Degreaser and rinse well. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of static for optimal adhesion. Carefully mix components A and B with a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Apply the primer with a roller, brush, or airless spray. For spray applications, up to 5% epoxy thinner may be added. Do not apply below 10°C or in high humidity. Clean tools with epoxy thinner or white spirit/paint thinner.

Coverage & Drying Time

• Coverage: approx. 6 m² per liter (depending on substrate absorption)
• Drying time: approx. 12 hours
• Recoatable: after 16 to 24 hours (temperature dependent)
