EN: Wixx AQ 300 Excellent Concrete Paint

Wixx AQ 300 Excellent concrete paint is a 1-component, completely solvent-free, water-based, low-odour and user-friendly concrete paint for wear-resistant floor finishes. The product-specific chemical composition results in safe application and a very good wear-resistant floor finish with excellent adhesion. This concrete paint also adheres excellently to metal and wood. Ideal for garages, retail spaces, showrooms, living rooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and similar applications. This product is not intended for resistance to plasticisers.
Do you have heavy floor loads? Then we therefore recommend Wixx 2K Epoxy 650 Concrete Coating or Wixx 2K Epoxy AQ 750 Concrete Coating.

Properties

• Dust-dry after 2 hours
• Recoatable after 12 hours
• Light traffic after 24 hours
• Coverage approximately 6 to 8m2 per litre, depending on the subfloor

Preparation

• First thoroughly degrease the substrate with Wixx Super Degreaser and then lightly sand
• Then apply 1 coat of Wixx Universal Concrete Primer to create excellent adhesion and eliminate absorption from the substrate
• Mix the concrete paint thoroughly for approximately 3 minutes using a metal mixer
• The application temperature is minimum +5ºC and maximum +25ºC. Good ventilation during and after application is essential for this floor coating
• Fully cured after 48 hours, provided well ventilated and under dry conditions

Application
Wixx AQ 300 Excellent concrete paint can be applied with roller, brush or airless spray.
If using airless spray, thin 5% with water.

Thinning/Cleaning
Wixx AQ 300 Excellent floor coating can be thinned and cleaned with water.

Primer
For untreated surfaces we therefore always recommend first applying 1 coat of Wixx Universal concrete primer, followed by 2 coats of Wixx AQ 300 Excellent concrete paint.
