Wixx garden stain UV+ provides long-lasting protection against weather conditions and UV radiation, keeping wood beautiful for longer. The garden stain also penetrates deep into the wood, prevents flaking and cracking and ensures a durable, satin finish.

Application
Wixx garden stain UV+ has been specially developed for protecting and beautifying garden houses, sheds, log cabins and other wooden exterior joinery. Therefore, it is suitable for both hardwood and softwood and applicable on treated and untreated wood.

Application instructions
First clean the substrate and degrease it thoroughly. Ensure the wood is completely clean, dry and dust-free. Then stir thoroughly before use. This ensures an even colour and finish. Then apply with a brush, roller or spray. Work in the direction of the wood grain for optimal results. Number of coats: Apply at least 2 coats for new or untreated wood. Sand between coats. Use a fine grit (P220) for an extra smooth finish.

Thinning and Cleaning
Do not thin: Wixx garden stain UV+ is ready to use.
Clean tools: Use turpentine or white spirit immediately after use.

Primer
For untreated wood, it is recommended to first apply a coat of Wixx Wood Impregnator. This improves the adhesion and durability of the exterior wood stain.

Coverage
Yield: approximately 16 m² per litre, depending on the wood type and absorption.

Drying time
Dust-dry: after 6 hours
Recoatable: after 24 hours
Fully cured: after 7 days
