Wixx PU 150 Concrete Paint

Wixx PU 150 concrete paint PU is a professional one-component polyurethane coating on a solvent basis. This high-quality concrete paint PU is characterised by extreme wear resistance and has been specially developed to make dusty concrete or cement screed floors completely dust-free.

Wixx PU 150 concrete paint PU also adheres excellently to metal and wood. Therefore, this coating is ideally suited for retail spaces, showrooms, commercial floors, kitchens, laundry rooms and similar applications. Important: this product is not resistant to plasticisers from car tyres. In that case, we recommend Wixx 2K Epoxy 650 Extreme Concrete Coating.

Our recommendation: 1 Coat Wixx Universal concrete primer & 2 Coats Wixx PU 150 concrete paint PU

Properties:

• Coverage is 6 to 8 m2 per litre, depending on the substrate
• Optimal Result: Use Wixx Universal Concrete Primer as base coat for best adhesion and maximum lifespan

Pre-treatment:

• First thoroughly degrease the substrate with Wixx Super Degreaser and then lightly sand
• Then apply 1 coat of Wixx Universal Concrete Primer to create excellent adhesion and eliminate absorption from the substrate
• Mix the concrete paint PU thoroughly for approximately 3 minutes using a metal mixer
• The application temperature is minimum +5ºC and maximum +25ºC. Good ventilation during and after application is essential for this product
• Drying time: Touch-dry within 6 to 8 hours. Fully cured after 48 hours, provided well ventilated and under dry conditions

Application:
Wixx PU 150 concrete paint PU can be applied with roller, brush or airless spray.
If you use airless spray, dilute 5% with Wixx PU Thinner.

Thinning/Cleaning:
Wixx PU 150 concrete paint PU can be thinned and cleaned with Wixx PU Thinner.

Primer:
For untreated surfaces we therefore always recommend first applying 1 coat of Wixx Universal concrete primer, followed by 2 coats of Wixx PU 150 concrete paint.
