Wixx 2k Epoxy 650 Extreme concrete coating epoxy is a very high-quality 2-component solvent-based concrete coating epoxy that has been specially developed for daily heavy mechanical and chemical stress. Therefore, this product is ideally used for the following purposes:

Wixx 2K Epoxy 650 Extreme concrete coating epoxy (2 coats) in combination with Wixx 2K Universal primer (1 coat) forms a strong epoxy floor that can withstand daily heavy loads including oils, greases, chemicals and plasticisers from car tyres. Moreover, Wixx 2K Epoxy 650 Extreme concrete coating epoxy is particularly wear-resistant. This product can be used on various substrates such as concrete, sand-cement, metal and wood.
With a 3-layer system, consisting of 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Wixx 2K epoxy 650 Extreme concrete coating epoxy, you also obtain a 100% liquid-tight floor that is very easy to clean chemically.

- Pot life is approximately 90 minutes
- Drying time is approximately 16 to 24 hours
- Recoatable after approximately 24 hours
- Light traffic after 48 hours
- Fully trafficable after 72 hours
- Important: the floor is only chemically cured after 96 hours and can only then be cleaned chemically
- Coverage is approximately 5m2 per litre, depending on the substrate
- Available in all colours
Substrate preparation:
First, every substrate must be thoroughly cleaned with Wixx Super Degreaser and then rinsed with water. The surface must be completely clean. The advantage of Wixx Super Degreaser is that it also makes the floor antistatic, ensuring optimal adhesion.
After degreasing, it is important that the floor is sanded and then made dust-free again.
Application:
Wixx 2k Epoxy 650 Extreme concrete coating epoxy can be applied with roller, brush or airless spray. If you use spray, dilute 5% with Epoxy thinner. Clean very thoroughly with Epoxy Thinner or White Spirit/Turpentine after use.
Thinning/Cleaning
Wixx 2k Epoxy 650 Extreme concrete coating epoxy may be diluted with a maximum of 5% Epoxy Thinner. Can be cleaned with Epoxy Thinner or White Spirit/Turpentine.
Primer:
We always recommend applying a coat of Wixx 2K Universal Primer first. This removes the absorption from the substrate and optimises adhesion. After using the primer, we then recommend applying 2 coats of Wixx 2K Epoxy 650 concrete coating epoxy.
