Wixx Douglas Oil UV+

Wixx Douglas Oil UV+ protects your douglas fir and larch wood against weathering, makes it water-repellent and enriches the wood colour. This douglas oil from Wixx consists of high-quality vegetable oils and waxes and therefore impregnates maximally. This prevents the growth of algae and fungi. You can apply this product very easily and you are finished in just 1 coat. Wixx Douglas Oil is suitable for all your douglas fir and larch exterior wood including: cladding, garden houses, verandas, sheds, fences, gates and rabbet boards.

Use
The surface must be dry and clean. Treat highly absorbent surfaces until they are saturated. Wipe off excess douglas oil with a cloth. Do not treat the wood too early in spring, as it is best to let the wood dry in the sun.

Preparation:
Stir the wood oil thoroughly from the bottom and allow it to reach room temperature. Apply between 9°C and 25°C.

Application:
1. Apply the wood oil in the lengthwise direction of the wood for a good finish. Work in sections or board by board.
2. Allow the oil to penetrate for 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Buff out excess oil with a lint-free cloth to prevent film build-up, until the wooden surface feels dry to the touch.
