Wixx Brown Oil UV+

Wixx brown oil UV+ is applied to both untreated as well as rough and fine sawn wood. Before starting the treatment with this brown oil, you must ensure that the wood is thoroughly dry.
Wixx brown oil UV+ is also applied to wooden retaining walls, mills, pot-lidded sheds, posts and fences, fences, garden wood, pergolas, mooring posts and railway sleepers. This wood preservative can also be excellently applied to aged or weathered wood.

Instructions for use
The substrate must first be dry, dust and grease-free. Remove loose parts. Sanding is not necessary, only when you want a smooth result. Apply Wixx wood impregnator UV+ with a flat brush or sheepskin applicator and for a good finish apply in the lengthwise direction of the wood. Only apply the next coat after the previous coat has completely penetrated and dried. We then recommend applying 2 coats.

Application
Wixx wood protection UV+ can be applied with roller, brush or airless spray.
If using airless spray, thin 5% with Wixx turpentine/white spirit.

Thinning/Cleaning
Wixx wood impregnator UV+ can be thinned and cleaned with Wixx turpentine/white spirit.

Primer
For untreated surfaces we therefore always recommend applying 2 or 3 coats of Wixx wood preservative UV+.
